& Green Craft Fair

Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center

The Calvert Green Expo & Craft Fair showcases local businesses and organizations that have incorporated sustainable practices into their operations and services, which is a hallmark of Burch Propane. Organized by the Calvert County Citizens Green Team, the Calvert Green Expo & Craft Fair is part environmental educational program, part green trade show, part green craft show, and part all-ages fun!

Propane is efficient, environmentally friendly, and considered to be Alternative Green Energy, according to the Clean Air Act and the Energy Policy Acts.

• Compared to other sources of energy such as wood and electric, propane produces between 40% and 60% less CO2 emissions released into the environment.
• Also propane does not contain methane which is 20 to 70 times more powerful than CO2 in having a warming effect on our atmosphere. 
• Propane poses no contamination threat to surrounding soil and water systems because it cannot remain in a liquid state outside a pressurized container.
